Former Chairman of the French Arbitration Committee
Admitted to the Paris and New York Bars, Carole Malinvaud joined Gide Loyrette Nouel in 1990 and has been a partner since 2001. She works in the arbitration department. She has acted as counsel or arbitrator in numerous institutional (ICC, ICSID, LCIA, Milan Chamber of Arbitration, AFA) and ad hoc (including UNCITRAL) arbitrations concerning the performance of international contracts, notably in the construction of industrial complexes, mining and oil projects, expropriation of foreign investments, distribution and corporate law. Carole Malinvaud is also a member of the Board of the "Comité Français de l'Arbitrage" (CFA), Officer of the "IBA" (International Arbitration Board), member of the "Institute for Transnational Arbitration" (ITA), and of the "Comité Français de l'Arbitrage international de la Chambre de Commerce Internationale" (ICC) as well as of the "Groupe Latino-Américain de la CCI". She is also involved in the development of the Plan France child sponsorship NGO.
