). A member of the Paris and New York Bars, Carole Malinvaud joined the law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel in 1990 and has been a partner there since 2001. She practices in the firm’s arbitration department. She serves as counsel or arbitrator in numerous institutional (ICC, ICSID, LCIA, Milan Chamber of Arbitration, AFA) and ad hoc (including UNCITRAL) arbitrations concerning the enforcement of international contracts, particularly in the areas of industrial complex construction, mining and oil projects, expropriation of foreign investments, distribution, and corporate law. Carole Malinvaud is also a member of the Executive Board of the “French Arbitration Committee” (CFA), an Officer of the “IBA” (International Arbitration Commission), a member of the “Institute for Transnational Arbitration” (ITA), and of the French Committee on International Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as well as the “ICC Latin American Group.” She is also involved in the development of the NGO Plan France, which sponsors children.
