Charles Jarrosson has been a professor of private law since 1986 and is a professor at the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), Director of the Master 2 program in Litigation, Arbitration, and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Director of the Revue de l’arbitrage, having previously served as its Editor-in-Chief from 2000 to 2015 and Secretary-General from 1984 to 2000. He is a regular visiting professor at various universities in Lebanon and Italy. He teaches domestic and international arbitration law and alternative dispute resolution methods and serves as an arbitrator and consultant in domestic and international arbitrations—both ad hoc and institutional—conducted in French, English, or Italian. He has also served as a mediator on numerous occasions.
He is the author of numerous publications, including *La notion d’arbitrage* (LGDJ, 1987, pref. B. Oppetit), some sixty articles, and some sixty case law notes, primarily on dispute resolution in the broad sense.
