An associate professor at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), he directs the Master 2 program in International Economic Relations Law and the International Business Law LL.M. (Paris-Singapore), and teaches corporate law, international trade law, and international arbitration. He is the author of numerous publications (Arbitration and Society, Lgdj, 1993; “Arbitration and Contract Groups,” Rev. arb. 1997; “Corporate Commitment to Arbitration,” ibid., 2006; “Independence of Arbitrators and Conflicts of Interest,” ibid., 2011; etc.; case law notes), he is a member of the French Committee on Private International Law and the French National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce. He frequently serves as chair, co-arbitrator, or sole arbitrator (ICC, UNCITRAL, AFA, CEPANI, etc.; ad hoc); in domestic or international proceedings; in French or English.
