Jérôme Ortscheidt, who holds a doctorate in law and is co-author of the book *Domestic and International Arbitration Law* (LGDJ, 2019), is an attorney admitted to practice before the Council of State and the Court of Cassation. He primarily appears before these two courts, has extensive experience in litigation in general, and represents clients before administrative courts and administrative courts of appeal, the European Court of Human Rights, the Court of Justice of the European Union and the General Court, financial courts (the Court of Auditors, regional and territorial chambers of the Court of Auditors, the Budgetary and Financial Disciplinary Court), and independent administrative authorities. He also prepares, in all matters, priority constitutionality questions before the Court of Cassation and the Council of State in particular, and subsequently before the Constitutional Council. He has further developed his practice in the field of arbitration—both domestic and international—acting as both counsel and arbitrator. Former treasurer of the French Arbitration Committee.
