Following a doctoral dissertation on “The Procedural Freedom of the Contracting Party,” Laura Weiller has devoted her research to civil procedure and arbitration, subjects on which she publishes regularly. She is the author, notably, of encyclopedic entries on the guiding principles of litigation, domestic arbitration, and international arbitration. Laura Weiller writes the arbitration column for a monthly journal on procedural law; she also contributes to the *Revue de l’arbitrage* and has been actively involved in organizing and facilitating the *Ateliers de pratique arbitrale* since their inception. She is a former Secretary General of the French Arbitration Committee.
