As the partner in charge of Hogan Lovells’ international arbitration team in Paris, he has more than 25 years of experience representing major industrial groups and governments in complex international arbitration and mediation proceedings. Specializing in disputes involving energy, technology, and investment, he has served as counsel in arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, the LCIA, ICSID, and UNCITRAL, as well as in numerous disputes under the Energy Charter Treaty. He regularly represents clients in the oil, gas, mining, electricity, nuclear, aerospace, and telecommunications sectors, and is frequently appointed as an arbitrator in cases before the ICC, the LCIA, and the Milan Chamber of Arbitration. In addition, he frequently publishes and speaks on current issues in arbitration, energy, and public and private international law. He also teaches energy arbitration at Sciences Po Paris and international arbitration at Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
